Post-Graduate Studies

The Department offered intensive courses for post-graduates. In Block B studies, organised by the Centre of Applied Mathematics, Prof. S.L.Farhy and Prof. V.N.Savov read lectures in Theory of Electrical Circuits and Theory of Electromagnetism. Several professors from the Deparment participated in the management and development of  relevant practical exercises. Different department members participated in the School of Theoretical Electrical Engineering for lecturers, scientists and specialists in other engineering fields. For the period from 1974 to 1977 the Department organised annual courses of Modelling Using Analog and Hybrid Computers for lecturers from the Technical University. Professors from the Department worked actively at the school of quality management, standartisation and reliability, on the courses for forecasts and innovations, on the courses for post-graduates at the Radiotechnical Institute.
In 1987 Assoc. Prof. A.T. Moskov became Director of Education in the field of Management (at the Autonomous Faculty) where he was one of the main lecturers.
For the staff of department each year are organised several series of lectures in interesting scientific areas, with such lecturers as Prof. Farhy, Prof. Papasov, Prof. Georgiev, Prof. Kolev, etc.
